Sam's Tours' resident multi-awarded uw video/photo pro Nick Martorano, Ph.D., of OCEAN WONDERS PRODUCTIONS, is offering courses in underwater photography and videography through Sam's Tours' state-of-the-art Digital Photo Center and dive facilities.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Nick Martorano is a multi-awarded, internationally-known High Definition Filmmaker, Cameraman and PADI Scuba Instructor with more than 10 years of experience in underwater imaging.
Nick's credits include National Geographic (USA), NPR (USA), "Survivor", GEO (Germany) , ABS-CBN (Philippines), The Ocean Channel (USA), and many more.
Nick has been a recipient of many awards, including the Stan Waterman Award in Excellence in Underwater Photography (2007) and the Bob Commers Award in Excellence in Underwater Photography (2006), among others. A sample of his award-winning short films is available here.
Nick has helped dozens of motivated divers from all over the world bring home fantastic underwater images or videos after only a few days of instruction! Now you can rest assured that your vacation to Palau will give you a chance to bring your underwater imaging skills to a whole new level!

COURSES:
Underwater video courses are offered at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Underwater photography courses are offered at the beginner and intermediate levels.
Classes are customized to the student's individual needs, and last from one to several days, depending on level and student's goals. Group courses are also offered.
Courses are organized and developed with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice, keeping theory and classroom hours to a minimum. The idea is to offer students an exciting and fun experience, while maximizing time spent in the water diving, shooting and having fun!
Constructive feedback is given at the end of each day of shooting, and elements of photo or video editing are included with each course. By the time you are done with your class, you will be able to bring home a nice sampler of your underwater images, or a ready-to-watch DVD of your underwater videos!
A DVD of you shooting underwater will also be included with each course, to facilitate learning and provide constructive feedback on your recently learnt skills.
